Chelsea defeated Devon Meadows by five goals in a close match. The Panthers were ahead by five at the end of the first quarter, however, Chelsea scored 10 goals in the second to only be trailing by one heading into halftime. A strong third quarter from the Seagulls saw them keep their opponents to only two goals as they stole the lead. Carrying the momentum with them into the final quarter they were able to extend their lead to win the match. 

Hastings return to the winner’s list with an eight-goal win over Somerville. The Eagles started the match well taking a three-goal lead into the second quarter. However, the Blues took control in the second to put the lead in their favour by halftime. Hastings extended their lead in the third quarter, however, Somerville were only six goals behind. Closing the match strongly the Blues made it too tough for Somerville to cause an upset.

26 goals separated Langwarrin and Red Hill at the final whistle on Saturday afternoon, with the Kangaroos continuing their impressive run to finals. The games were moved to McClelland College due to the conditions and were played indoors.

Karingal blew Pearcedale away by 64 goals on Saturday afternoon as they head to finals while Pearcedale ends their season winless. Karingal finishes the season with four from four senior teams in the finals with B,C and D Grades going through to whole season undefeated.

Seaford hit the court running against Rye and didn’t slow down in their 43-goal win against Rye. The Tigers opened the match with a 19 to five first quarter. The Demons had their best quarter in the second, however, were no match for Seaford who continued to outscore their opponents at every turn. 

Minor premiers Crib Point defeated Tyabb by 28 goals on Saturday. The Magpies swooped fast winning the first quarter by two goals. However, it was their second and third quarters that really separated them from the Yabbies. Scoring 24 goals to 15 in the middle quarters set them up well for the final quarter which the Magpies went on to win by 17 goals.
